It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the TOGA 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting. From the warmth and sunshine of Brisbane at the 2025 ASM to the vibrant energy of Melbourne in 2026, what we may lack in weather, we more than make up for with a thriving arts scene, world-class coffee, and beautiful walking paths.

As lung cancer diagnostics and therapies continue to evolve at a rapid pace, so too must our ability to harness our collective strengths to deliver the most optimal care for our patients.

This year’s meeting themed ‘Shaping tomorrow’s thoracic cancer care together’ will showcase the latest hot topics across multiple subspecialties in thoracic malignancies, original research abstracts, our ever-popular debate session, and hands-on research workshops.

The TOGA ASM remains a uniquely valuable forum - bringing together everyone involved in the field of thoracic malignancies across Australia and New Zealand. This opportunity for connection, both professional and collegial, is what drives vital collaborations and advances in our field.
