Dr Renae Grundy is a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Lung Cancer at the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania, with over 18 years of specialist experience in thoracic oncology nursing. Her practice centres on patient advocacy, continuity of care, and service development to improve outcomes for people diagnosed with lung cancer and their carers.
She has led the development of nurse-led models of care within lung cancer services, focusing on reducing fragmentation, improving coordination across complex treatment pathways, and supporting patients through diagnosis, active treatment, and survivorship.
